We pride ourselves on hiring staff and taking on volunteers that can share the Spring Into Action vision, aims and objectives, and who can contribute to fulfilling the lives of our service users.

Lucy Hamlin

Director

Lucy has over eight years experience working in the private and voluntary sectors, managing multiple tasks and reporting to funding bodies such as Lancashire County Council, Children in Need, Sport England and Big Lottery. She recently completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Third Sector and Voluntary Management with Edge Hill University.

Lauri Gaynor

Youth Services

Mum of three Lauri has a background in Childcare. She has a foundation degree in Health and Social care and works on a range of our projects in Hyndburn and Ribble Valley

Dawn Vickers

Director

Dawn has worked in marketing, PR and business development in both the private and public sectors, with over 10 years of operational and strategic management in adult education. She is a prolific networker, with loads of creative flair and energy, with particular strength in linking partners together to benefit service users. Dawn is also a singer in local bands.

Heather Fletcher

Youth Services

Having spent time living in Spain, Heather took time out of her career as a nursery manager to take care of her young family. A level 2 fitness instructor, she has excellent knowledge and understanding of promoting healthy lifestyle choices. Heather works on our Ribble Valley projects.

Ben Armstrong

Coach

You can find Ben down at our Inclusive Sports Club, where he leads the sessions. Liked by all of our members, he creates a fun environment for people to try out sport. Ben also tutors on our Volunteer Training Course and works at a local college teaching BTEC students.

Bethany Hodgkinson

Youth Services

Beth has volunteered for a local youth group for people with disabilities for two years. She was crowned Young Person of the Year in The Bee Local Heros awards in 2013 and is currently studying Engineering at Tameside University. Beth is also a qualified football referee.

Sohail Rahman

Youth Services

Sohail enjoys working with people with learning disabilities and is liked by all members of our inclusive sports club where you can find him on Friday evenings.
